This is the 18" Split variant of our "HC-9-THK" headphone cable. This cable features some thicker 3.5mm connectors going to the headphones for those that like the larger connectors that come with Focal cans for example. The cable is still compatible with headphones from Hifiman, Harmonicdyne and more. The HC-9-THK-Split is balanced capable, modular and terminated to a female 4-pin mini-XLR for use with our entire interconnect line.
HC-Split / 18" split cables?
While our standard headphone cables come in at 4.5 ft, our HC-Split cable variants include only the 18 inch split portion of those cables, with the Left and Right cable lengths terminating directly to a female 4-pin mini-xlr for use with our modular system. The idea being to pair these with longer interconnects, or utilize shorter interconnects for things like bluetooth applications etc.

As long as this cable fits, it will work with Sony and Beyerdynamic's headphone models. If you'd like to use lower profile connectors to avoid any potential fitment issues, be sure to use our "HC-9-TR" listing here to make sure you get a cable wired for Sony and Beyerdynamic's (Monolith's M1070 as well) wiring convention.
